Wondrous Wednesday #5

Dear Awesome Reader,

What do you think of when I say ‘successful blogger’? Do you think of someone who is making a living out of blogger with hundreds and thousands of followers, or, do you think of someone who is able to post regularly and deliver that content no matter how many followers they have?

To me, a successful blogger is one who can inspire, enlighten or make people think. A successful blogger will really care about their audience and in return they will get respect back. They make links with their followers and appreciate the fact that people want to read their work. A successful blogger puts a lot of time into their blog and it pays off no matter how long or quickly it takes.

What do you think the definition of a successful blogger is?

I agree that a successful blogger is not someone who ‘just’ has lots of followers. People who see blogs with lots of followers usually think “they have lots of followers, so they must be good” which obviously isn’t always true. I think a successful blogger is someone who inspires people, whether older or younger, and who might actually make a change in someone’s life, e.g. if they’re going through a hard time:)

I think a successful blogger is one that is able to interact well with their community. They do not have to have huge following or make money from their blog, just have something to offer. This does not have to be freebies, it could be advice, inspiration, practical help, or just entertainment,

To me, a successful blogger is someone who inspires people and loves what they do in turn. Their posts can be humorous or deep, but you know that they care about their audience, and don’t just blog for the numbers.
