I’m Changing My Blog Name?!

Dear Awesome Reader,

I was thinking about how blogging is so important to me and how I could never just, give it up. And then I thought about this blog and how much I love it and all of you wonderful readers. And then I thought, what happens when I’m not a teen anymore? Surely it can’t still be called The Teen Daydreamer?

I am also going to start a Youtube channel in a year or two (I want to start it now but I feel like I’m still too young!) and I was thinking about how I can’t call in The Teen Daydreamer because I won’t be a teen for very long. But I also want to be able to have the same name for my blog as my Youtube channel. Right, I think you get the point! I’m sorry this is rambling on a bit!

So I’m thinking of changing my blog name to “A Little Daydreamer” because it refers to my age as I am young but also my figure! I’m thinking of also having a domain name which would be something like alittledaydreamer.com.

So what do you think?

I’ve already created the Youtube channel called A Little Daydreamer (see if you can find it!) simply because I don’t want anyone to steal it first!

Please leave your thoughts down in the comments! 🙂

I think taking teenager out of your title is great for even now. Although you’ve had great success, some people have difficulty respecting a teenager’s work. Writing them off as general drama and angst that they will grow out of in college.

I like the new name, it’s catchy. The old one isn’t really a problem in my eyes, you’ll always have a story to tell like those popstars who have names that stuck when they were little. Can’t think of one now but… 🙂

I like the new name although, as someone else commented I don’t see a major problem with the current one. Perhaps give it some thought as its easy to make a decision then start thinking about whether it was the correct one. If you do change your blog’s title, I think there is an option to allow WordPress to permit someone else to take your blog’s current title. This would mean that a person who wants the Teen Daydreamer for their domain can have it. Best. Kevin

I think ‘A Little Daydreamer’ is perfect. I also think that there is no harm in changing the name of your blog now. It will then coincide perfectly with your YouTube channel as soon as you are ready to launch it! 🙂

I say you should follow your gut but a name, like your new one, will be one that speaks to you in the longer term. Especially if you are already questioning the teen one. If I had to vote, go with the new one 🙂 Cheryl
