The Summertime Ball 2015

SummerTime Ball

Dear Awesome Reader,

Let’s start from the beginning…

So as you know, I went to Capital FM’s Summertime Ball on Saturday and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

We arrived in London at around quarter past 12 and we checked in to our hotel. Then we met our little cousins and we had some food! My sister and I both had a huge pizza each! Then we went back to the hotel and got ready! By this time I was obviously super excited, but I had no idea what was in store…

I think at this point I should say a HUGE thank you to Michael for helping put together this incredible event and giving us the opportunity to experience it!

We arrived and went into the golden circle, which is basically the bit where you can go as close to the stage as you like, and the artists began to perform! I can honestly say that I enjoyed every single one of them! (If you would like to see the acts just click here!)

There was around 84,000 people at Wembley and, as you can imagine, the atmosphere was insane!

As Martin Garrix began to mix up some tunes, my sister, my mum and I go to go backstage and I was literally speechless! You don’t realise how big the stage really is until you’re standing on it! There was a huge board which sort of split the stage in half and so the performers were on one side and the crew, and us, were on the other side! It was incredible to be able to have that opportunity!

Avicii was last to perform and as he did so, we got to meet Pandora who was super lovely! ❤

The whole experience was one that I will never forget and thank you to everyone who made it possible! If you would like to see a couple of photos, then check out my Twitter or Instagram!

Now, I mentioned previously that I would film all of this with my phone. It didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped because my phone ran out of battery quite early on, however, I just used my mum’s phone! I’m currently editing that footage so if that’s something you guys would like to see, then please comment below and tell me and it might just happen…!

If you have any questions, then feel free to comment below! ❤
