Dear Awesome Reader,

Welcome to the third week of the Teens Tell Their Story Project! Do you think it’s going quite quickly? 🙂

We started this project off with the Struggles of Being a Teen and then the Benefits of Being a Teen. But from now on, we’re going to introduce more specific topics. As always, you it is completely up to you whether to get involved with each and every topic, and you are free to structure your post into whatever form you like.

This week, we’re going to be talking about YouTube.

You can interpret this however you wish, nonetheless I’m going to give you my interpretation.

I think that YouTube is a great way for, people similar to myself who enjoy creating videos, to have a platform to create and share our passion with others. And there are so many YouTubers out there who create videos that really do influence people in a positive way, for example making them laugh or smile. There are others who use the platform to share their talent in things such as music.

Of course, like anything really, it does come with some downsides. If I wanted to sum up everything else I would like to say, I’d probably just use the word “hate”. It isn’t nice when people comment with rude, unnecessary things and I expect it’s hard to take lightly. As Miranda Sings would say, haters back off! 😉 Unfortunately, it’s something you have to deal with.

Aside from that though, I think it’s a great way to build a large community. This community we’ve built here is amazing but imagine hundreds of thousands of us…we’d probably just take over the blogsphere. And most likely the internet too. Sound like a plan? 😉

Sorry, I seemed to go a bit off topic there! My point was, there are YouTubers who has millions of subscribes and they’ve managed to create a community out of nothing. And I think bringing people together though YouTube can definitely be a good thing.

I have a range of different YouTubers who I enjoy, but mostly I’ll watch videos similar to my own or what I hope to achieve in the future. If you like you can check out my channel by clicking here to see what type of videos I make. 🙂

And one of our members, Xanziepan, also has a YouTube channel so go and check that out and support her! 🙂

If you have a YouTube channel, definitely include a link to your channel; self-promotion is not frowned upon here at all! I’ll happily check out your videos! 😉

To conclude, take the title of this week’s topic and run with it! There’s no right or wrong answer.

Thank you for this wonderful community and I wonder where it’ll take us…
