I Have A Twin?

Dear Awesome Reader,

We’re not identical, but a lot of people tend to say we look quite similar. My sister is a tiny bit taller than me, is one shoe size bigger than me and has darker, longer hair than me.

Oh and perhaps I should mention, she’s also roughly 970 days younger than me. 974 days to be exact.

So as you might have guessed by now, Annalise (my sister) is not my twin.

Let me explain and allow me to set the scene. We walk into a shop with our mum to get our school uniform, (probably one of the most upsetting things that has occurred since the holidays began, just below buying school shoes of course *inserts sighing face emoji*). Anyway, just as we were being presented with our uniforms by a young lady who worked at the shop, she said, “Ah, so are you twins?”

I wanted to cry out “Excuse me but there is 974 days between us and now my sister is going to tease me about this occurrence for the rest of my life!”

But of course, I just laughed it off and pretended that everything would be okay. After my mum had explained the age difference, she did say “Yes, I did think you *nods at me* looked older.” At least she tried to redeem herself.

Naturally, Annalise has continued to tease me about us being twins, especially since I had to borrow a pair of her leggings recently as I had nothing else to wear.

Sigh. 😉 #StrugglesOfBeingASister

SIDE NOTE : I’m going to do the Q & A on my YouTube channel, so feel free to ask me questions if you haven’t done so already. Or you can always just ask more. 🙂

EXTRA SIDE NOTE : For those of you who don’t know, my mum has a blog which is back on track again now and you should definitely check it out! http://www.theproofgate.com

EXTRA EXTRA SIDE NOTE : You’re awesome. ^.^ And you should also ask me a question for my Q & A. 😉

YAY! I love your mum’s blog! And hehe – don’t let Annalise (lovely name; how do you pronounce it?) tease you TOO much. Also – I HAVE asked questions for your Q and A, right?!
