WHY EXAMS ARE NOT IMPORTANT. (well they are, but they’re not)

I really don’t want to make the a long post (mostly because I have a Chem exam tomorrow, but that’s besides the point).

Okay, so exams are important. But as long as you have made the effort, the end result is only as important as you make it. Please don’t stress. 🙂

I used to worry about exams A LOT but I’ve learned to at least try not to take it SO seriously. This has helped me so much considering the amount of exams I’ve had to do in years 10 and now 11, and it’s made me think about how much I actually care about what the teacher is going to say, rather than how I personally feel about my result. And I think that says a whole lot about how we are taught – through fear. Fear of failure.

Things like determination are needed to be successful in the future and that’s something vital that can’t be taught. Of course, these are just my personal beliefs and you in no way have to agree with them.

I want to be wise, not intelligent.

Like I said, you don’t have to agree with me and I would love to hear what you have to say on the matter. ❤

Good luck to all sitting exams this year and please don’t work yourself too hard. x
