I sort of took a few weeks off my blog, unplanned.
So here’s the deal:
School has made my life a little more busier than usual at the moment as my GCSE exams are very close now! And one other thing : health. I needed some time to focus on it.
I posted something on Instagram a couple of weeks back about my feelings towards mental health, and just health in general. I’m not going to focus too much on myself on here for now, but simply just give you the idea that I’ve been to the doctors and now recently had my bloods done because I’ve been feeling very tired, and just generally sad and down a lot. That’s as much detail as I can be bothered to give as this post isn’t supposed to be about me. Instead, about you.
Mental health shouldn’t be some scary concept that we should keep a secret. Not only this, but we should be more supportive of issues people have to overcome in general. Honestly, I do believe that just talking to people helps in so many ways.
What I urge you to do is talk. Talk about your problems with people; don’t feel like you have to keep it to yourself.
I am a pretty open person, but at the same time, I know how it feels to be secretive and think you can deal with it all yourself. If you feel like you have no one to talk to, you are ALWAYS welcome to message me (Instagram’s at @alildaydreamer) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org)
This is obviously going a bit off topic from the mental health side of things, but
worries are something we all have to deal with.
To me, it doesn’t matter how insignificant you think or want the worry to be, if it matters: it matters. Or at least that’s how I see it. So don’t be afraid to get it off your chest and deal with it that way. 🙂
Basically to sum up what I’m trying to say is : please don’t feel like you’re alone. x
I’m going to try my best to get back into blogging because this community is so freaking amazing and supportive of each other!! ❤
I hope you understand where I’m coming from with all of this,
thank you x
